Students at Bancroft receive a planner they are expected to use throughout the year. This planner has a daily calendar where students can write homework assignments, projects and notes from teachers to parents. It also has many important informational facts about Bancroft. Students will get a bound version of the planner at the beginning of the year.

2017 – 2018

What is the first day of school for the 2017/18 school year?

The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 30.  This will be a minimum day with students being dismissed at 2:18 p.m.

The following documents are required for admission to Bancroft Middle School:

  1. Residency Verification Affidavit

A driver’s license or identification card is acceptable for the purpose of identification, but not for establishing residency. Acceptable documentation of a residence includes two of the following:

  • Property tax payment receipts
  • Rental property contract, lease or payment receipts
  • Utility service contract, statement or payment receipts
  • Pay stubs
  • Voter Registration
  • Correspondence from a government agency

Other forms of bills (e.g., telephone, cable) do not satisfy the residency requirement.

7) Proof of Age

    Acceptable methods of age verification are through the following:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate
  • Passport

 

Immunization Requirements

Must be an original immunization record or official school record, must be presented at the time of enrollment for students that are new to the district. Refer to immunization requirements included with enrollment packet.

 

       Previous School Information

 Please provide the name, address, and phone number of the last school attended.

 In addition, a copy of the current report card, check out grade sheet, or transcript is

 required and a copy of last year’s California Standards Test Scores.         

                      

Special Education

Additional documentation is required if the student was receiving Special Education services at his/her previous school, an Interim Placement Request (IPR) must be completed.

Health History/Medication at School

Please provide a doctor’s note for serious or chronic health problems and physical education accommodations. Any student who needs to take medication at school must have a Medication at School Request Form on file with the nurse. It must be completed and signed by a doctor and signed by the parent/guardian.
