Welcome Bancroft Families and Staff!

Our 2016-17 school year is under way and as the newly elected PTA President, I’m eager to build relationships with all of the great Screen Shot 2016-10-20 at 4.53.03 PM.pngpeople at Bancroft. The PTA had a rocky start this year and faced a host of challenges, but I’m confident that with your support we can have a successful year! The new PTA Executive Board at Bancroft has a common mission this year: to work collaboratively with families, school and community in an effort to help all of our children succeed. Will you be part of that vision? Your contribution, whether it is your time, knowledge, or resources make a difference. We invite you to be an involved member at Bancroft.  I strongly encourage everyone to renew or start a new membership for only $10 per person. By becoming a member and attending PTA meetings you have a vote (voice) on how your fundraising dollars are spent.

We look forward to getting to know your family. We hope you will join us for our PTA meetings. Our meetings are typically held the second Tuesday of each month in the school library at 6:30 pm. In November, due to Election Day, we have scheduled our monthly meeting for Thursday, November 10th at 6:30pm.  In addition to providing you with PTA updates, our next meeting will offer families an opportunity to start/renew their membership and sign up for volunteer opportunities.

On behalf of the PTA Executive Board, we wish everyone a very productive year ahead and look forward to your continued support. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at LBUSD.Bancroft.PTA@gmail.com. Please know that questions and suggestions are always welcome!

We have a wave of information coming your way – please stay tuned!

Alex Abolos,

Bancroft PTA President
